Upload your photos to nrg!
nrg uses Flickr as a means to display your pictures proudly. We encourage you to show us and everyone else, your pictures of nrg events and activities that you have participated in! In order for you to show your pictures on our Flickr group and our website you must do the following instructions.
In order to upload your photos you must first be a member of flickr. To sign up with flickr click here. If your already a member or have just joined up you can upload your photos onto your Flickr account by doing the following:
- First go to the Flickr website: www.flickr.com
- Then sign in (sometimes you will be still be signed in from last time if you never signed out)
- Once you are at your main page where you'll see your name shown on the top portion of the webpage, you'll see a horizontal list of menu options above your name. Select the Down Arrow next to the menu option "You".
- A new drop down menu will appear where you can select the option "Upload Photos". This will take you to a new page where you can upload your photos.
- Select browse and then search for the location of your photo(s) on your computer. Once you have found the picture, select it and hit "open" to place the file path on the Upload Photo webpage.
- Make sure that the option for "Public" is selected and that you've added any tags that you want.
- Now you can hit the "Upload" button and the picture will be placed onto your Flickr account.
To place the photo into the nrg Flickr group you must have already become a member of the nrg Flickr group. To become a member you find the "Group" option in the top menu on the main page of your flickr account. Select that and then select the sub option of "Search for a Group". In the provided text box type in "poweredbychoice" and hit "search". You should now see the nrg group called: "NRG: Powered By Choice". Click on the link to join the group. Once your a member you can do the following steps to upload your photo onto the nrg Flickr group as well as the nrg website.
- Under the webpage "Your Photos" which can be found on the same drop down menu as before when clicking the Down Arrow next to "You", you will see any pictures that you have uploaded thus far to your account. Click on the picture you would like to upload to the nrg Flickr group.
- You will now see a new set of options above the picture that you have just clicked on. One of these options will be "Send to Group". Click this button.
- You will be given a choice of groups that you are currently part of, to place this picture into. Select the NRG: Poweredbychoice group and the photo will be uploaded to that group.
- The 16 most recent photos in the nrg Flickr group will automatically be shown on the nrg website.
